Since I can remember I have been fascinated by nature and wildlife.

Consequently I ended up studying biology at ETH Zurich, adding a PhD at the University of Zurich, just to move to Australia for some two-and-a-half years of research at Monash University.

Once back in Switzerland, I took manager job, but remain passionate about nature, travel and wildlife. Combined with photography. While I am having interest in general on wildlife, my focus on birds really sparked in Australia… no wonder, you might say. Nonetheless, I essentially remain an allrounder trying to capture the beauty of nature.
